Gabrielle
Painter
has performed
throughout Europe, Canada and the United States as soloist, recitalist
and chamber musician. Her concerto engagements have included
performances of Szymanowski’s First Violin Concerto at the Staller
Center, New York, performances of Lou Harrison’s Violin Concerto and a
performance of the Triple Concerto by Beethoven in Germany, recorded for
German National Radio. Gabrielle has also been a guest artist at venues
including the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Cathedral of Saint John the
Divine Chamber Music Series (NY), the Miller Theatre (NY), the London
Festival of Chamber Music (UK), and with the Mark Morris Dance Group.
Dedicated to the performance of music of our time, she is a founding
member of the New York based furious band who can be heard on
CRI and New World Records. |

Karl Lutchmayer enjoys an international career as both a pianist and lecturer. He studied at the Royal College of Music where he won numerous prizes and scholarships, and later held the prestigious Constant & Kit Lambert Fellowship awarded by the Worshipful Company of Musicians. Karl has given recitals and concertos throughout the world, working with conductors including Lorin Maazel and Sir Andrew Davis, and performed at all the major London concert halls. He has broadcast on BBC Radio3 and Classic FM, and his recent recital series at the Warehouse was received with critical acclaim. A passionate advocate of contemporary music, he has given numerous premieres and had many works written for him. He currently holds lectureships at the Royal College and Trinity College, and is a regular guest lecturer at the Julliard School, New York. Forthcoming engagements include solo recitals, concertos and lectures throughout Britain, the USA, Malta, Israel, Cyprus and India. |
